To convincingly portray the life of the iconic singer, Timothée not only underwent a physical transformation but also meticulously adopted Dylan's mannerisms.

The actor gained 20 pounds to resemble Dylan more closely, practised guitar for five years in preparation for the role, and even used cheek plumpers and nostril expanders to enhance his likeness. He also studied outtakes and Dylan bootleg YouTube channels for further authenticity.
