A New Teaser Trailer For 'Freakier Friday' Features Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan In Sequel Film

The official Disney YouTube channel just recently dropped a trailer for what appears to be a new sequel film that's going to pick up the story left off by the classic 2003 comedy film 'Freaky Friday'. The new sequel film, featuring many actors and actresses from the original, is called 'Freakier Friday' and the trailer for it can be watched below.

For those of you that fell in love with the comedy and drama of the original film starring a much younger duo of Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, or those of you that are curious to learn more about this film and what it'll be like, here are some of the things you should know about 'Freakier Friday'.

Plot Details Of The Upcoming Comedy Drama Film 'Freakier Friday'

In the teaser trailer recently released for the film, we see that the characters of Tess Coleman and Anna Coleman have returned to the story, and that they have not forgotten their experiences of switching bodies from the original film. What gets them a little freaked out, though, is when they meet a dubious fortune teller that's immediately able to recognize that the two had such an experience before, and that they may soon experience it again.

This time, however, the duo are not the only one caught up in the body switching experience, as their daughters, Harper Coleman and Lily Davies, also get involved. While the daughters are extremely confused, it is up to Tess and Anna Coleman to guide them through this confusing situation, while at the same time navigate what it's like to be a young teenager in the modern era.

'Freakier Friday' is directed by Nisha Ganatra, who worked on the film based on a script written by Jordan Weiss. Other producers for the film includes Kristin Burr, Andrew Gunn, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The cast list for the film features many returning actors and actresses from the original film such as Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, but also some new faces such as Julia Butters and Sophia Hammons.
