The official A24 YouTube channel just recently uploaded a trailer for what appears to be a film that's going to explore the life of a man whose life seems to be fixed and broken simultaneously by his weirdly charming neighbour. The movie is called 'Friendship' and the trailer for it can be watched below.

A24 has described the film 'Friendship' in the following manner, "Suburban dad Craig falls hard for his charismatic new neighbor, as Craig's attempts to make an adult male friend threaten to ruin both of their lives."

In the trailer, we can actually see how Craig, who doesn't seem to have that great of a social circle, seems to open up and try new things when he's given the opportunity to hang out with his neighbour, played by Paul Rudd. We see him drink, share stories, sing, and even play the drums. Things seem to go south though, as Craig's attempts to maintain the friendship seem to cause more harm than good to both his as well as his neighbour's wellbeing.

'Friendship' is directed by Andrew DeYoung who also wrote the script for the film. He worked on it alongside producers Raphael Margules and J. D. Lifshitz.
