This sweeping historical drama directed by Brady Corbet stars a distinguished ensemble cast, with Academy Award winner Adrien Brody taking on the lead role, delivering a performance rich in complexity. The Brutalist follows the gripping journey of László Toth, portrayed by Adrien Brody , a Hungarian-Jewish architect who, having survived the horrors of the Holocaust, embarks on a new life in the United States. Separated from his wife, Erzsébet (played by Felicity Jones ), who remains trapped in Eastern Europe with their niece in the aftermath of the war, László is left to navigate the challenges of a foreign land on his own. He settles in Pennsylvania, where his extraordinary architectural talent is soon recognized by Harrison Lee Van Buren (played by Guy Pearce) , a wealthy and influential industrialist.
