Premiering on March 2, 2025, American Idol Season 23 is coming to an end on Sunday, 18th May 2025. The grand finale episode will be a live event which will be broadcasted on ABC at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT.

In India, the finale will be live broadcasted on Monday (May 19) at 5:30 AM IST due to the different time zones. The finale episode will be accessible on ABC's official website or their official streaming app.

Last season, Abi Carter, who had become the winner of American Idol S22, was a Platinum Ticket holder. But in this season, the contestants holding the Platinum tickets, Kolbi Jordan, Canaan James Hill and Filo, got evicted pretty early.

During an interview with People, American Idol Season 23 judge Luke Bryan revealed that he has a feeling Jamal Roberts will win this season. "My gut has told me Jamal has...[been] a lead all year, (sic)" he said. Acknowledging Breanna and John, Luke continued, "When you look at every time Breanna gets through, we're like, 'She keeps showing up and making it happen.' And then John Foster just seems to be gaining momentum. (sic)"

"Even if it's something that Jamal's kind of had the reins of, it could change with a little bit of not focus[ing]...so they gotta be focused all the way to the end. The music business never is not like that. You've gotta focus every day, (sic)" he added.
