Aubrey Plaza's Husband, Jeff Baena Allegedly Committed Suicide, Dies At 47

Director, writer, and husband to Aubrey Plaza, Jeff Baena just recently died at the young age of 47. His body was found by one of his assistants in his Los Angeles-area home around morning on Friday. According to the local examiner, as reported by People, Baena's cause of death had been determined to be due to suicide by hanging.

Jeff Baena had been married to actress Aubrey Plaza for around 14 years prior to his death, during which he had done numerous collaborations with the actress. In fact, Baena's first directorial debut with the movie 'Life After Beth' all the way back in 2014, had featured Aubrey Plaza as the lead actress. After this film, the actress and director duo collaborated on three more films, those being 'Joshy' in 2016', 'The Little Hours' in 2017, and 'Spin Me Round' in 2022.

Prior to her relationship and collaboration with director Jeff Baena, Aubrey Plaza had gained popularity in Hollywood through her role in the comedy sitcom 'Parks And Recreation' and has had several influential roles in popular movies and television series like 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World', 'Happiest Season', and 'The White Lotus'.

So far, neither Aubrey Plaza, nor any representative of Jeff Baena have made any further comments on his demise or what is to happen after.
