'Avengers: Doomsday' Cast Revealed, Possible Collaboration With 'X-Men' And 'Fantastic Four' Movies

The official Marvel YouTube channel just recently dropped an announcement video that has informed the audience that the production for the 'Avengers: Doomsday' film has now started. That is not all, though, as the video also features a huge cast list reveal that tells us a lot more about the possible characters we will get to see in the upcoming Marvel film.

Of course, it being an Avengers film, we will get to see many of the actors from the previous Avengers films reprise their roles, such as Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Paul Rudd as Ant Man, Danny Ramirez as the Falcon, and possibly more. Tom Hiddleston will also be returning for this film, most probably reprising his role of Loki, though it's hard to say whether it will be the Loki we know from the series of the same name, or a different Loki from an alternate universe.

One of the biggest names from the Marvel franchise will also be making his return, that being Robert Downey Jr. Though he will not be taking on the role of Iron Man, as the character has already passed away in the previous movies. Instead, the actor will take on the role of the main antagonist of the upcoming film, that being Victor von Doom, or Dr. Doom.

But not only are many of the Avengers cast returning for the new film, but we also have actors and actresses from other Marvel I.P.s that will be joining the cast list for this film. Many of the actors from the original 'X-Men' movies will be returning as their former mutant roles, such as Kelsey Grammer who played The Beast, Patrick Stewart who played Professor X, Ian McKellen who played Magneto, Alan Cumming who played Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn who played Mystique, and James Marsden who played Cyclops. It was also announced that a mutant who was only very recently featured in the Deadpool & Wolverine movie, Gambit, will also be returning for the film and will also be played by Channing Tatum.

Members of the Thunderbolts have also joined the cast list, such as Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Lewis Pullman as Sentry, David Harbour as Red Guardian, and Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost. The upcoming 'Fantastic Four: First Steps' film's actors will also be joining the cast list for 'Avengers: Doomsday' including names such as Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, and Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic.

Other notable characters from other Marvel movies include Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Winston Duke as M'Baku, and possibly more.

While the following names were not mentioned in the video, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, and Hayley Atwell are also expected to make an appearance in the films, though it's unclear as to what kind of role they will play in the story.
