Blake Lively Amends Complaint Against Justin Baldoni, Pulls In Other Co-Stars Into Legal Battle

Another new development has taken place in the ongoing legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. Lively has just recently amended her complaint against her former 'It Ends With Us' co-star, with the new filing both more details and involving more individuals into the complaint against the actor and director Justin Baldoni.
In the amended complaint, filed by her attorneys Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb, it is stated that Justin Baldoni's actions not only caused discomfort to Blake Lively, but also to many other female cast and crew members present on set. "You can't speak to people sexually while not in character or while talking about a character" Lively allegedly told another actress on set after Baldoni had called the two of them 'sexy'. Lively did not, however, share any screenshots of such messages between her and the other female cast and crew members of the set.
In response to this, Justin Baldoni's legal team had the following response which they made to USA Today, "Our clients have been transparent in providing receipts, real time documents and video showing a completely different story than what has been manipulated and cherry picked to the media. Our clients have taken this matter and these issues very seriously notwithstanding the jokes made publicly by the plaintiff and her husband. Her underwhelming amended complaint is filled with unsubstantial hearsay of unnamed persons who are clearly no longer willing to come forward or publicly support her claims."
The 'jokes' in the statement by Baldoni's team seem to refer to the recent SNL bit where Ryan Reynolds seemed to have made jokes about the legal battle between his wife, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
This new development has come after a $400 million dollar lawsuit by Justin Baldoni against Blake Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and publicity team, with Baldoni suing them for defamation, civil extortion, and invasion of privacy. This lawsuit was filed against Lively after she filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, accusing the director of sexual harassment on the set of 'It Ends With Us' as well as creating and managing a smear campaign against the actress in order to protect his own image. Both sides claim innocence and their trial will be held in March, 2026.
