'Demon City' Manga Gets Netflix Live-Action Adaptation, Watch Trailer And Learn More

The Netflix Asia YouTube channel just recently dropped a trailer for what appears to be a new live-action film adaptation of a manga series that follows the story of a retired hitman on a quest for the ultimate revenge. The Netflix film is called 'Demon City', based on the manga 'Oni Goroshi', and the trailer for it can be watched below.
For those of you that love revenge stories filled with action, drama and bloodshed, or those of you that want to learn more about what this movie is going to be like, here are some of the things you should know about 'Demon City'.
Plot Details Of The Japanese Action Film 'Demon City
Demon City has been described by Netflix in the following manner, "Just as hitman Shuhei Sakata is about to clean up his act for his family, the mysterious organization Kimen-gumi murders his wife and daughter, pinning the blame on him and sullying his name. Shot in the head, he miraculously survives but falls into a coma. Twelve years later, the Kimen-gumi attacks him again, but his dormant killer instinct awakens, setting him on an epic course of revenge. However, what awaits him is a truth that threatens to completely alter his destiny."
Cast And Crew Behind The Film 'Demon City'
'Demon City' is directed by Seiji Tanaka, who also wrote the screenplay for the film. He worked on the project alongside executive producer Yoshihiro Sato, cinematographer Kohei Kato, action director Takashi Tanimoto, and assistant director Koji Takado.
The cast list for the film includes talents such as Toma Ikuta, Masahiro Higashide, Mio Tanaka, Ami Touma, Taro Suruga, Mai Kiryu, Naoto Takenaka, Takuma Otoo, Masanobu Takashima, Matsuya Onoe, and more.
