Just recently, the official Disney Plus YouTube channel released a featurette for the latest season of the Goosebumps series which will be available on the OTT platform today. The new chapter in the series is titled 'Goosebumps: The Vanishing' and the featurette can be watched below.

The series has been described by Disney Plus as follows, " The season begins when twins Devin and Cece Brewer are sent to spend a summer in Gravesend, Brooklyn, with their divorced dad. A threat is stirring, and they quickly realize that dark secrets are among them, triggering a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery. As they delve into the unknown, Devin, Cece and their friends - Alex, CJ and Frankie - find themselves entangled in the chilling tale of four teenagers who mysteriously vanished in 1994."

The series is going to be inspired from several of the original Goosebumps books, some of which include titles such as 'Stay Out of the Basement, The Haunted Car, Monster Blood, The Girl Who Cried Monster, The Ghost Next Door and Welcome to Camp Nightmare'.

The series is going to be worked on by Nicholas Stoller and Rob Letterman, with Hilary Winston acting as the showrunner. Executive producers for the series include big names like Neal H. Moritz, Iole Lucchese, Caitlin Friedman, Pavun Shetty, Conor Welch, Erin O'Malley, Karl Frankenfield and James Eagan.
