Grammys 2025: BEYONCÉ Becomes First Black Woman To Win Best Country Album At 67th Grammys

There have been many firsts in the Grammys this year. Many of our favourite artists from 2024 and now 2025 are being celebrated for their amazing performances, monumental success, and terrific progress in their careers as musicians, songwriters, producers, and more. Still, there aren't many other moments in the Grammys that can really top the moment that it was announced that Beyonce had won the 'Best Country Album' award at the Grammys this year. Beyonce had the following to say once she went up on stage to receive the award, "I really was not expecting this. I wanna thank God that I'm able to do what I love after so many years. I'd like to thank all of the incredible country artists that accepted this country album. We worked so hard on it. I think sometimes genre is a cold word to keep us in our place as artists and I just want to encourage people to do what they're passionate about and to stay persistent. I'd like to thank my beautiful family, all of the artists that were collaborators. Thank you. This wouldn't have been this album without you. I'd like to thank God again and my fans and I still am in shock so thank you so much for this honour."

Beyonce has been one of the most nominated artists in this year's Grammys, having received 11 different nominations in many different categories including 'Best Record Of The Year', 'Best Pop Solo Performance' and more. Her album 'Cowboy Carter' also received the Grammy for 'Best Album Of The Year'. She is the first black woman to receive the Grammy for 'Best Country Album'. Other winners for this award include Johnny Cash, Taylor Swift, Dixie Chicks, and more.
