In case you don't know Milton Nascimento is a legendary Brazilian musician and international jazz artist. Been in the music industry for decades, Milton opted to wear a black tuxedo at the music awards event. Celebrating the collaborative studio album, Milton and Esperanza entered the red carpet together. What actually happened at Grammys 2025 was Milton Nascimento did not get a seat at the front row among the A-lister even though he is a legendary musician and deserved no less.

After walking the red carpet with living legend Milton Nascimento, Esperanza look to Instagram to bas Grammys, saying, "Soooo, Milton was refused a seat at the tables for this years ceremony. that didn't sit right with me." She added, "(I'm not talking about a Grammy win. We are celebrating the glorious @samarajoysings win, I'm talking about a physics seat...here at this table I'm sitting at. I'm mad this living legend wasn't considered important enough to sit among the A Listers, or however tables on the main floor are organized. So, I had to bring him with me. 😅 (sic)."

To note, Brazilian musician Milton Nascimento has won 5 Grammys Awards. In 1992, Milton got Best World Music Album nominee for 'Txai'. In 1995, he won for Best World Music Album nominee for 'Angelus'. In 1998, he won for Best World Music Album for 'Nascimento'. In 2002, Milton won for Best World Music Album nominee for 'Gil & Milton'with Gilberto Gil. And, in 2025, he and Esperanza won Best Jazz Vocal Album nominee for 'Milton + esperanza'.
