Grammys 2025 | Joy Villa Backs Trump Deportation Campaign: I Love To See Rapists, Human Traffickers Deported

Joy Villa has made quite the statements during this year's Grammys, both with her unusual fashion choices as well as her political opinions. The American musical artist, who is also one of the most vocal supporters of Trump in the music industry, showed up to the 67th Grammys with a golden dress alongside a red 'Make America Great Again' hat which had the words "The Hat Stays On" written on the front. She also sported a very long golden chain with what appeared to be a meme image of a dog wearing a hat, which is supposed to reference a crypto-currency which uses the same image.
When asked about her fashion, she stated that "This look is all about American exceptionalism." Her dress was created by a gay Filipino immigrant, and that it was meant to represent crypto which the artist believes to be "definitely the new wave of freedom."
When asked about the current wave of deportations that occurred during Trump's very recent presidency, Villa had the following to say, "I think the ones that should be deported are being deported. To be honest, I'm a Latina, my family came from this country, to this country, legally, and I love to see rapists, human traffickers deported. I don't want to see them here. I want us to be free, for all colors, for all people. That's what makes America great again. So we can create, so we can live. As an artist, as a musician, I want to be able to walk at night and not think that I'm going to get killed by an illegal alien. So those are the people getting deported, those are the people that should get deported."
These comments by Joy Villa are in stark contrast to a recently deleted Instagram video by Selena Gomez, where she spoke between sobs, "My people are getting attacked, the children. I don't understand. I'm so sorry, I wish I could do something but I can't. I don't know what to do. I'll try everything, I promise."
