With its breathtaking visuals, a deeper look into the new era, the movie elevates the excitement, positioning it as one of the most eagerly awaited films of 2025. Helmed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Gareth Edwards, the upcoming film is set to transport viewers into an exciting new chapter of the beloved franchise. Leading the ensemble is Scarlett Johansson, a celebrated Academy Award nominee, joined by Jonathan Bailey, known for his Emmy-nominated work, and Mahershala Ali, a two-time Oscar winner. The trio is set to infuse the Jurassic franchise with renewed intensity and take it in an exciting, uncharted direction.
Picking up after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the story now moves to a remote equatorial zone, where the remaining dinosaurs have discovered a lush environment that mirrors their natural habitat-allowing them to not just survive, but flourish once again. Now, the fate of humankind may rest on the three most immense among them, who hold the secret to a miraculous, life-altering drug. Dr. Henry Loomis (played by Jonathan Bailey), a paleontologist, whereas Zora Bennett (played by Scarlet Johansson), a skilled covert operative who leads a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure genetic material from the world's three most massive dinosaurs. Her operation clashes with a civilian family's desperate plight after aquatic dinosaurs overturn their boat. Marooned on a forgotten island, they unearth a shocking, decades-long global secret.
While discussing his love for the Jurassic series and how it has been a huge part of his childhood that captured his imagination for cinema, Emmy Award Nominee Jonathan Bailey who plays Dr. Henry Loomis in the upcoming Jurassic World: Rebirth shared, "I was five years old when my family took me to Jurassic Park, so a slightly questionable choice by my parents, given that it was PG-13," Bailey further said, "I remember it was kind of spiritual, not only because of the vision and the fantasy, but because it spoke to something about the modern world's relationship to the past and nature. The characters were so vivid and so playful, the writing was so taut, and because it was Spielberg, it was a sumptuous escapist delight. And the John Williams score! How do you rank the John Williams scores? I'm literally paid to say this now, but I do think it's number one."
The dinosaurs are back! Catch the stunning spectacle of Jurassic World and jaw-dropping visuals, igniting a new era where thrill meets science. The new era begins on July 4th, 2025!
