Jurassic World Rebirth Cast, Story, India Release Date
The dinosaurs are all set to come back on our screens in India. Starring Scarlett Johansson as a covert operation expert 'Zora Benett', Jonathan Bailey as paleontologist 'Dr. Henry Loomist', Mahershala Ali as Zora's team leader 'Duncan Kincaid', and Rupert Friend as 'Martin Krebs' among others, Jurassic World Rebirth is arriving in India tomorrow (Friday, July 4). For those unversed, the Hollywood biggie has already been released in the USA and Canada (overseas market) by Universal Pictures on July 2, 2025.
Jurassic World Rebirth, a standalone sequel to Jurassic World Dominion (2022), marks the fourth Jurassic film and the overall seventh installment in the Jurassic Park franchise.
The official synopsis of the film reads, "Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet's ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures across land, sea and air within that tropical biosphere hold, in their DNA, the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind. When Zora's operation intersects with a civilian family whose boating expedition was capsized by marauding aquatic dinos, they all find themselves stranded on a forbidden island that had once housed an undisclosed research facility for Jurassic Park. There, in a terrain populated by dinosaurs of vastly different species, they come face-to-face with a sinister, shocking discovery that has been hidden from the world for decades."
Jurassic World Rebirth Twitter (X) Review: Netizens React To Scarlett Johansson-Jonathan Bailey Film
Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey starrer Jurassic World Rebirth has opened to mixed reviews from and critics alike. The Twitter reactions to the highly-ambitious project have left the internet divided.
Reacting to the movie, one of the users took to X (now 'Twitter') and wrote, "#JurassicWorldRebirth tries to erase the previous World films and awkwardly mimics the original Park, resulting in a forgettable, predictable mess with a pointless ending. Universal, it's time to let this franchise rest. It's not evolving, it's just becoming a fossil 👎🏾". Meanwhile, another user gave this film a 8/10 rating and tweeted, "#JurassicWorldRebirth is an engaging horror adventure that absolutely delivers in terms of tension and awe (the scene in the gif here is pure JP magic), despite some flaws here and there when the movie doesn't dare as it could have.
Jonathan Bailey is pure gold.
8/10"
Another fan heaped praises on Jurassic World Rebirth and wrote, "Saw #JurassicWorldRebirth for the second time and this time around I was more emotional. The
@JurassicWorld
franchise is beautiful and I love every single thing about it. Thank you for this beautiful movie ❤️"
On the other hand, movie critic Sean Tajipour criticized the film. Sharing his review, the critic wrote, "I don't recommend watching #JurassicWorldRebirth in a packed room with no A/C - the struggle was real, and for what?
This might honestly be the dullest entry yet. I was hoping for a knockout, but this one might just be the worst installment.
None of the characters were likable, the story was weak, the mutated dinos looked super cheesy, and the CGI was such a letdown.
The original Jurassic Park will always be unmatched, and at this point, I'm okay with these movies never being made again.
Sadly, this franchise has let me down once again."
