Lilo & Stitch First Review: Amid a huge buzz and high expectations, Disney's sci-fi comedy Lilo & Stitch is finally set to release in India on May 23. The movie is directed by Dean Fleischer Camp and is a new version of Disney's 2002 animated film. It mixes live-action with animation to retell the story freshly.
This time, Maia Kealoha makes her film debut playing the role of Lilo Pelekai. Chris Sanders, who originally wrote and directed Lilo & Stitch, returns to voice the character of Stitch once again. Ever since its announcement, fans have been eagerly awaiting its big-screen release, and their wait has finally come to an end as Lilo & Stitch is now running in theatres.

Hours before its release, the first review of Lilo & Stitch is finally out. According to the review, it is 'heartfelt' and one of the best live-action movies of the year. Giving it 4 stars, the reviewer called it "hilarious from start to finish" and wrote, "LILO AND STITCH is surprisingly one of the best movies of the year. LILO & STITCH CAST AND PLOT DETAILS
For those unaware, Lilo & Stitch tells the story of a young girl named Lilo, feeling alone and longing for connection, who adopts what she believes is a dog. In reality, it's Stitch, a powerful alien creature created for destruction. As Stitch is chased by other aliens and monitored by social workers, Lilo begins to show him the meaning of love and family, slowly changing both their lives.
Besides Maia Kealoha, the Hollywood film also features Sydney Elizabeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Hannah Waddingham, Zach Galifianakis, and Courtney B. Vance in important roles. The film also features appearances by original cast members Amy Hill, Jason Scott Lee, and Tia Carrere.
