'My Hero Academia' The Final Season Trailer Teased By Crunchyroll, Coming Soon This Fall!

The official Crunchyroll YouTube channel just recently dropped a trailer for the last season of one of the most beloved anime series of the past decade. The last season trailer is for the anime 'My Hero Academia' and it can be watched below.

For those of you that have been following the anime since its first season, or those of you that are curious to learn more about the anime series and what it's like, here are some of the things you should know about 'My Hero Academia'.

Plot Details Of The Superhero Anime Series 'My Hero Academia'

'My Hero Academia' has been described by Crunchyroll in the following manner, "Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life-a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That's right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered "quirk," Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that's not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world's most prestigious hero academies."

For the final season, the series will be adapting the 'Final War' arc from the manga, where the heroes and villains will duke it out in one final showdown. After the reveal of the UA traitor, the heroes decide to use a divide and conquer approach to take down all the different villains. The last season will decide the fate of not only Japan, but also the world at large.

Cast And Crew Behind The Anime Series 'My Hero Academia'

Kenji Nagasaki, who was the chief director of season 7 of 'My Hero Academia' will continue to direct the series alongside Naomi Nakayama at Studio BONES. Yusuke Kuroda will act as the series composer and script writer, with Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima acting as character designers.

The series will also see the return of many of the beloved voice actors from the earlier seasons such as Daiki Yamashita, Yui Horie, Junichi Suwabe, Gou Inoue, and more.

'My Hero Academia' and its first 7 seasons are currently available to watch on Crunchyroll, with the final season releasing on the same platform sometime in October, 2025.
