Predator: Badlands Debuts At 90% On Rotten Tomatoes, Wins Hearts With Its Heart-Pounding Action

Director Dan Trachtenberg has cemented his status as the definitive creative steward of the Predator franchise. His latest installment, Predator: Badlands, made a strong debut with a commanding 90% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, earning widespread critical acclaim for its heart-pounding action and fresh take on the iconic sci-fi spectacle.

Predator: Badlands continues the series' critical resurgence following the successes of Trachtenberg's Prey and Predator: Killer of Killers. The film is praised for successfully balancing the franchise's signature gore and suspense with innovative concepts, including a reported franchise-first plot point: featuring the Predator as the main protagonist.

The film stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, alongside an accomplished ensemble cast.
