The official Prime Video YouTube channel just dropped the official trailer for what appears to be a new K-Drama series which shows that even when the world is falling apart and a zombie apocalypse is occurring, people will always pursue love no matter what happens. The K-Drama series is called 'Newtopia' and the trailer for it can be watched below.

Plot Details Of The Zombie Apocalypse K-Drama Series 'Newtopia'

Prime Video has described the series 'Newtopia' in the following manner, "Nothing says fate like fighting for a second chance at love...during a zombie virus outbreak."

In the trailer, we can get a glimpse at the two main characters. Lee Jae-yoon is the male lead, a soldier in the military. The female lead and Jae-yoon's girlfriend is called Young-joo. In the beginning of the trailer, it is revealed that the two broke up with one another right as the zombie apocalypse broke out. In a desperate attempt for survival and comfort, Young-joo attempts to make her way towards Jae-yoon, even if it means wading through a horde of zombies. In this bizarre scenario, it is up to Lee Jae-yoon to decide whether he sticks to his duties as a solider, or abandons his post in search of his ex-girlfriend.

'Newtopia' is directed by Yoon Sung-hyun, who worked on the series alongside writers Han Jin-won and Ji Ho-jin.
