The first half of Season 3 of 'Re:ZERO - Starting Life In Another World' has been available to stream on Crunchyroll for a while now, but just recently a new trailer was dropped showcasing the second half of the third season of the popular Isekai-genre defining anime. Plot Details Of 'Re:ZERO - Starting Life In Another World' And Its Third Season

The unique isekai series has been described by Crunchyroll as follows, "Natsuki Subaru, an ordinary high school student, is on his way home from the convenience store when he finds himself transported to another world. As he's lost and confused in a new world where he doesn't even know left from right, the only person to reach out to him was a beautiful girl with silver hair. Determined to repay her somehow for saving him from his own despair, Subaru agrees to help the girl find something she's looking for..."

The new season's story takes the plot one step further, as Subaru finds himself facing off against a whole new set of antagonists. Season 3 has been described as follows, "A year has passed since Subaru's victory at the Sanctuary. He savors a life of fulfillment while Emilia's camp stands united for the royal selection-until a fateful letter arrives. Anastasia, a royal selection candidate, has invited Emilia to the Watergate City of Priestella. But as the party begins its journey, crisis stirs beneath the surface and Subaru meets a cruel fate once again."

Cast And Crew Behind The Third Season Of 'Re:ZERO - Starting Life In Another World'

The director of the series has been changed, and will be directed by Masahiro Shinohara instead of Masaharu Watanabe. The anime will still be produced at Studio White Fox.

The cast of the third season of the anime will remain mostly the same, featuring voice actors Kobayashi Yusuke and Takahashi Rie in their iconic roles of Natsuki Subaru and Emilia respectively. There are, however, many new additions to the cast as well which include actors Chika Anzai, Shoya Ishige, Kotaro Nishiyama, Kenjiro Tsuda, and the most recent addition, Aoi Yuki.

Season 3 of 'Re:Zero - Starting Life In Another World' is divided into two arcs with eight episodes each.The first arc is available to watch on Crunchyroll, with the second arc coming to the digital platform from February 5th, 2025 onwards.
