SAG Awards 2025: Kristen Bell's Parody Song 'Do You Want To Be An Actor', Gossip Girl Collab

SAG Awards 2025 Kristen Bell Parody Song

The official Netflix YouTube channel just recently uploaded a video of the 31st SAG Awards host, Kristen Bell singing a song 'Do You Wanna Be An Actor', a parody of the song 'Do You Wanna Build A Snowman' from the Disney movie 'Frozen'. Kristen Bell actually starred in Frozen all the way back in 2013 as well, giving her voice to the princess Anna.

Prior to her song, she talked about how everyone one day probably had a dream of becoming an actor, stating "I just want to say everyone in this room, and I do mean everyone, including the camera operators on the side over here and over here, the writers backstage, the director in the booth and all of the actors in their seats. Everyone started out as a kid in 'Somewhere, comma, Earth,' going to bed and waking up every morning thinking, "It's going to be me.'"

Once the song started, it was accompanied by a video featuring clips from many films, television shows, and even advertisements that were the start of many famous Hollywood stars' careers. Some of the clips included celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis, Selena Gomez, Colin Farrel, Timothee Chalamet, Jeff Bridges, Harrison Ford, and more.

After the ending of the song, the actress also gave a big heartfelt thank you to all the Los Angeles fire fighters that have been fending off the fires which engulfed the region where many Hollywood stars resided.

During the awards show, Kristen Bell also reprised her role as the narrator for the drama series, 'Gossip Girl' by making cheeky comments towards some of the guests. She narrated, "Hey everyone, Gossip Girl here. One of my sources, Lainey86, sends me this: Spotted at table 8, Jeff Goldblum has a wicked appetite and a peek behind the curtain reveals he likes his green eggs with ham. And look who it is, not-so-lonely boy Timothée Chalamet sitting next to a hot steak, medium rare, au poivre, with a side of broccoli."

Eventually, it was revealed to be a collaboration with actress Leighton Meester, where Bell complained about how all the gossip seemed to just be about food, to which Meester responded that she was just really hungry. Since the drama series ended in 2012, this collab brings back decades old nostalgia.

While Kristen Bell was the host for the 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards, she was also the nominee for best actress in a comedy series, but lost the award to 'Hacks' lead actress Jean Smart who played Deborah Vance.
