'Summer Pockets' Anime Gets Official Trailer, Coming To Crunchyroll In Spring 2025

The official Crunchyroll YouTube channel just recently dropped a trailer for an upcoming anime that adapts a visual novel about the story of four different girls and how they go about their daily lives in an island mostly isolated from the rest of the world. The anime is called 'Summer Pockets' and the official trailer for it can be watched below.

Plot Details Of The Slice Of Life Anime 'Summer Pockets'
'Summer Pockets' has been described by MyAnimeList in the following manner, "Summer Pockets is set on an isolated, rural, and peaceful island on the Seto Inland Sea called Torishirojima, which has a population of about 2,000 people. The protagonist, Hairi Takahara, grew up in an urban setting, but after an unpleasant incident, he uses the recent death of his grandmother as an excuse to come to the island to take care of her estate sale. Once there, he gets to know four girls, who are the focus of the story: Shiroha Naruse, who forgot her summer vacation; Ao Sorakado, who is pursuing the legends of the island; Kamome Kushima, a high-class girl looking for a pirate ship; and Tsumugi Wenders, a younger girl trying to find herself."
Cast And Crew Behind The Anime 'Summer Pockets'
'Summer Pockets' is directed by Tomoki Kobayashi, who worked on the series alongside series composer and writer Keiichiro Ochi, as well as character designer Mai Otsuka.
The voice cast for the anime includes notable Japanese talents such as Shoya Chiba, Konomi Kohara, Natsumi Takamori, Nene Hieda, Emiri Iwai, and more.
