Superman Box Office Collection Day 2: Fans of superheroes have something to look forward to this July. The much-anticipated Superman movie has made its global debut. Directed by James Gunn, the film draws inspiration from the legendary DC Comics character. This is the second reboot of the Superman series, and with a vast global fan base, it stands as one of 2025's most awaited releases. The film stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman. The trailer has generated significant excitement among superhero fans.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Superman, which minted Rs 7 crores in India all languages combined, saw a hike in numbers and earned Rs 9.35 crores on day 2 (first Saturday) which will took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 16.35 crores
Superman Beats Captain America: Brave New World On Day 2
Interestingly, with a collection of Rs 9.35 crores, Superman has managed to beat Captain America: Brave New World on the second day of release. For the uninitiated, Captain America: Brave New World had minted Rs 4 crores on day 2 in India.
Meanwhile, talking about Superman, David Corenswet told GQ that he had never dreamt of becoming Superman. "One day I was in my home, fixing a light bulb when I got the call from my agent who said, 'Well David, I'm sure you know what this call is about,' and I had no idea and told him, 'What am I supposed to be waiting for, Top Gun 3? Just talk fast because I am on a ladder. Suddenly, he told me that I have an audition for Superman and that I am not special, and will have to send my tape in like everyone else and told me to not f*** it up," he added.
