In an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat, film business expert Rohit Jaiswal stated that Superman is expected to see a hike in collection today (day 2/ first Saturday). Superman is expected to make a collection of Rs 10 crores today and will be inching close to Rs 20 crores mark. If the reports turned out to be true, Superman will beat Brad Pitt starrer F1 which had minted Rs 7.75 crores in India on day 2. On the other hand, it will be interesting to see if Superman can surpass the opening day collection of Jurassic World Rebirth which had earned Rs 13.5 crores on second day.

Meanwhile, talking about Superman, David Corenswet told GQ that he had never dreamt of becoming Superman. "One day I was in my home, fixing a light bulb when I got the call from my agent who said, 'Well David, I'm sure you know what this call is about,' and I had no idea and told him, 'What am I supposed to be waiting for, Top Gun 3? Just talk fast because I am on a ladder. Suddenly, he told me that I have an audition for Superman and that I am not special, and will have to send my tape in like everyone else and told me to not f*** it up," he added.
