The Residence OTT Platform & Release Date: For the murder mystery-loving entertainment enthusiasts, there is another brand new mystery mini-TV series that is going to hit the leading OTT platform Netflix OTT this week. Titled The Residence, the web series inspired by The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House by Kate Andersen Brower, is going to start streaming on March 20.

The series is going to have a global debut and surrounds the fictional murder scandal involving the staff of the White House. The first season has as many as eight episodes all written by Paul William Davies. Liza Johnson directed the episodes. Cordelia Cupp, a weird detective, arrives on the premises of the White House after an accidental murder takes place inside the President's house. The investigation leads to the inner conflicts.

The Residence Premise
There is a state dinner in the White House and suddenly a dead body surfaces. An eccentric detective, Cordelia Cupp enters the scene and begins to suspect all the 157 members in 132 rooms.

The Residence Cast & Crew
The web series stars Uzo Aduba as Cordelia Cupp, a consultant with the Metropolitan Police Department, Giancarlo Esposito as A.B. Wynter, the White House Chief Usher, Susan Kelechi Watson as Jasmine Haney, a White House Assistant Usher, Jason Lee as Tripp Morgan, President's brother, Ken Marino as Harry Hollinger, Edwina Findley as Sheila Cannon, Randall Park as Edwin Park, Molly Griggs as Lilly Schumacher, Dan Perrault, Barrett Foa, Spencer Garrett, Bronson Pinchot, Isiah Whitlock Jr, Mary Wiseman, and Matt Oberg among others in key roles.
