THE WHEEL OF TIME EPISODE 3 RECAP AND SPOILERS

Titled Seeds of Shadow, the third episode begins with Lanfear meeting Lord Gabriel and Sammael in a dimly lit hall. Gabriel, filled with contempt, warns them against repeating past mistakes that allowed the Dragon Reborn to slip away. Lanfear, unfazed, reveals that Moghedien is moving in the shadows, planning to eliminate Sammael first before targeting the others. She proposes an alliance, but Gabriel warns that Forsaken like Graendal and Semirhage will demand inclusion, further fracturing their ranks.

Meanwhile, Elayne and Nynaeve interrogate two Black Ajah captives separately, hoping to extract useful information. One reveals the Ajah's structure-small groups called "hearts," where each member knows only two others. She also claims Liandrin has gone to Tear to help a Forsaken seize Callandor. However, Joiya, the second captive, insists Liandrin is after Mazrim Taim. Their lies become evident when neither mentions stolen relics, especially a mysterious ancient bracelet. Moments later, a gray man attempts to assassinate them, confirming their suspicions. Narrowly escaping, they decide to go to Tanchico.

In the Aiel Waste, Rand, Moiraine, and their group encounter the bodies of travelers killed by the Shaido Clan. Later, Rand is drawn into a dream where Lanfear cryptically hints that killing the Dark One might free her from his grip.

Elsewhere, Liandrin arrives in Tanchico and crashes a noble wedding. Recognizing the groom as a descendant of a man who once betrayed her, she mercilessly kills him using the One Power, leaving the terrified bride alive.

Elsewhere, Perrin learns that the White Cloaks have taken Na'ati and demand him in exchange. Standing before the gathered people of Two Rivers, he declares his willingness to surrender if it means saving her. However, the villagers, weary yet unbroken, refuse to let him go. They insist that handing him over won't stop the suffering and instead urge him to flee before it's too late.

But Perrin, his golden eyes blazing with determination, refuses to run. He urges them to fight back, to stand together against their oppressors rather than cower in fear. If they unite, he insists, they can make the White Cloaks regret setting foot in their land.

Meanwhile, Mat hones his combat skills, training with a large wooden staff. Elayne's brothers mock him, challenging him to a duel. However, Mat quickly proves them wrong, showcasing his true abilities. He defeats them effortlessly, surprising everyone. Afterward, he approaches Nynaeve and declares that he will be joining her and Elayne on their journey to Tanchico.

With multiple storylines unfolding, The Wheel Of Time 3 Episode 3 sets the stage for intense conflicts ahead, as Perrin faces a moral dilemma, Rand grapples with Lanfear's cryptic messages, and Mat steps up, ready to embrace his role in the unfolding battle.
