The official Marvel YouTube channel just dropped a new clip showing off how the iconic talkative spider-themed superhero got his powers in the first place. The series is called 'Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man' and the clip from the series can be found below.

'Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man' will follow the journey of Peter Parker, the boy behind the mask of the superhero, Spider-Man. It will more closely look into his youth and early days as the hero, as we can tell from the trailer that his Spidey-Suit looks rough, as if cobbled together with the allowance of a high schooler.

The animated series aims to take Spider-Man back to his comic book roots, with even the animation of the series stylized to match a comic book aesthetic. That doesn't mean the series will turn back time, though, as this new Spider-Man lives in a time where people will be live streaming and sharing his antics all over the internet and social media. Spider-Man will have to not only manage his duties as a local superhero as well as a high school student, but also manage his reputation with the larger world that has their eyes on him.

'Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man' is created and written by Jeff Trammell, who worked alongside the Marvel Animation studio to bring the series to life. Mel Zwyer acts as the supervising director, with Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt serving as executive producers.
