Fans hoping for another season of Euphoria may be disappointed. Following the Season 3 finale, creator Sam Levinson confirmed that the HBO drama has officially come to an end, making Season 3 the series' final chapter.
Levinson shared the update during an appearance on Popcast, The New York Times' music podcast, putting an end to months of speculation about a possible fourth season. The creator also explained the reasoning behind the show's emotional conclusion in the post-finale featurette, saying, "It just felt like the honest ending." He further added, "The honest ending is people like Rue don't make it."
Interestingly, lead star Zendaya had previously hinted in interviews that she believed the third season would likely be the final installment. With both the show's creator and its biggest star pointing toward the same conclusion, it now appears official that Euphoria will not return for Season 4, bringing one of HBO's most popular series to a close.
