Fashion, Film & Glamour Collide For The Devil Wears Prada 2 In India
Fashion met cinema in spectacular style earlier this week as 20th Century Studios celebrated the arrival of The Devil Wears Prada 2 in India with an unforgettable Runway-inspired evening in Mumbai. Set against a backdrop of glamour, couture, and cinematic nostalgia, the event brought together some of the biggest names from the worlds of fashion and entertainment, turning the city into the ultimate Runway moment worthy of the iconic sequel.

Set within Jio World Plaza, acclaimed Indian designer Rahul Mishra hosted a special fashion showcase paying tribute to the enduring cultural legacy of The Devil Wears Prada and its sequel. OG supermodels Dino Morea, Sheetal Mallar, Dipannita Sharma, Carol Gracias, Ujjwala Raut, Archana Akil Kumar, Sonalika Sahay, and Lekha Ananthraman joined a new generation of models on the ramp, creating a compelling blend of eras in couture pieces that echoed the film's lasting influence on fashion.
To witness this cinema-meets-couture evening, Karan Johar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Dia Mirza, Soha Ali Khan, Babil Khan, Nimrat Kaur, Sunny Leone, Huma Qureshi, Shibani Dandekar, Orry, Anusha Dandekar, Rhea Chakraborty, Karishma Tanna, Pragya Kapoor, designer Nachiket Barve, and many more arrived in style.
Speaking about the collaboration, Mishra shared, "The Devil Wears Prada has always stayed with me, not just as a film, but also as a reminder of how fashion shapes identity and aspiration. As a designer, you're constantly balancing creativity with the realities of the industry, and the film reflects that in a very relatable way. Through these specially curated pieces, I've sought to translate the film's spirit which is shaped by my admiration for Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt. In a way, this is me celebrating the film, the fashion, and the joy of creating iconic moments."
Nearly two decades after redefining fashion on screen, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci return as Miranda, Andy, Emily, and Nigel - back in the high-stakes world of New York City and the iconic Runway Magazine. Directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, the film is produced by Wendy Finerman, with Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt, and Aline Brosh McKenna serving as executive producers.
A 20th Century Studios film, The Devil Wears Prada 2, is now playing in cinemas across India.
