Halle Bailey And Rege-Jean Page Bring Romance To The Heart Of Tuscany
National, 1st April, 2026: Universal Pictures India (distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery ) is set to bring You, Me and Tuscany to theatres on 10th April, 2026. Directed by Kat Coiro, the film stars Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page in lead roles. The story explores themes of self-discovery, love, and personal growth, unfolding around a family-run restaurant, old-school romantic misadventures, and the charm of rustic Italian life.

Halle Bailey brings a deeply personal connection to her role, making Anna's journey feel both authentic and relatable. Bailey immediately connected with the character. "Anna has such depth and such a great story to tell," Bailey says. "I was excited to be the one to tell it. My first thought when I read the script was, 'What a beautiful journey of this young girl who is experiencing life, trauma, heartbreak and disappointment. She is so unsure, but she has dreams, passion and excitement for what she loves to do." The film follows her character, Anna, whose brash decision to become a squatter in an abandoned Tuscan villa owned by a man she barely knows leads her into a world of adventure, deception, and, ultimately love.
On paper, Anna is someone who lies, breaks into a villa, and strings people along, potentially coming across as a con woman. However, through Bailey's performance, the character is redefined with empathy and nuance. Instead of judgment, audiences see someone trying to navigate life in the best way she can by making mistakes, learning, and growing along the way. The film ultimately captures Anna's transformation as she begins to understand herself better, finding clarity in her purpose and confidence in the path she chooses for her future.
Watch Anna's journey unfold on the big screen this 10th April, 2026.
