Insidious: Out of the Further is all set to make August a nightmare for horror fans. The sixth installment in the Insidious franchise has dropped its first trailer, promising intense scares and a gripping supernatural story.

Featuring Amelia Eve as Gemma, the film hints at malevolent souls that continue to haunt her beyond realms, setting the stage for a terrifying showdown.

In Insidious: Out of the Further, Amelia Eve stars as Gemma, a young mother raising her daughter in the house she grew up in who discovers she can travel into The Further, the purgatorial realm of lost souls at the heart of the Insidious universe. When something evil comes after her, Gemma discovers an ability that changes everything: she doesn't just enter The Further, she can bring what lives there back to the real world. Once the demons realize her power, our world becomes their playground.

Since the franchise's debut in 2010, Insidious has become one of the most enduring and successful horror series of all time, grossing more than $740 million worldwide.

Directed by Jacob Chas, Sony Pictures Entertainment India will release Insidious: Out of the Further in India in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on 21st August, 2026.
