Lauren Bennett Death: In a heartbreaking turn of events, singer Lauren Bennett, best known for her iconic song 'Party Rock Anthem' is no more. The singer passed away at the age of 37. Apparently, Lauren Bennett passed away more than a month ago, but news of her death wasn't made public until Monday (July 6).

The singer breathed her last in England on May 29, a month before her 37th birthday.

Reports of musician Lauren Bennett's - ex-member of G.R.L and Paradiso Girls - death have left everyone in shock. On Monday, her ex-bandmates confirmed the heartbreaking news of her death in a statement. "It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Lauren," they wrote.

"Our hearts are broken, and we cannot begin to express how much she meant to us. We will forever cherish the love, laughter, and countless memories she gave us. Her beautiful spirit touched so many lives, and she will be deeply missed and forever loved. Rest peacefully, sweet Lauren. You will always be in our hearts. Your GRLS, Em, Tash, and P," the statement added.

While the exact cause behind her untimely demise has been kept under wraps, Lauren's old comments on her mental health struggle prior to her death have surfaced online.

Lauren Bennett, who'd actively spread awareness around mental health, had been vocal about her struggles with mental health. Her mother had also suffered from mental illness before passing away, however, the singer never got into much detail.

Lauren had spoken about how badly she was affected when her G.R.L bandmate Simone Battle died by suicide. For those unversed, it was after Simone's death that G.R.L disbanded.

She had also talked about the same in her song 'Hurricane'. As per reports, during the release of the song, she'd said,"After G.R.L. ended, I had no idea what was going to happen next; everything fell apart pretty fast. That's when this song was written. After seeing my mother suffer with mental struggles for years, I then lost a friend to this. It has always affected my life in some way. We all at least know someone who has dealt with it or have dealt with it yourself. This is a story to show from my eyes what it feels like to suffer from this, but also the other perspective to lose someone to this"

Late Lauren Bennett was in a long-term relationship with Footloose actor and dancer Kenny Wormald. While they kept their relationship private, reports claim that they got married in 2019.
