Nicholas Galitzine's Workout For He-Man And Masters Of The Universe REVEALED: Weightlifting, Cardio And Stunt

As He-Man and the Masters of the Universe gears up for its theatrical release on 5th June 2026, two newly released BTS videos are giving fans a closer look at Nicholas Galitzine's journey of transforming into the legendary hero.

The videos shared by the makers reveal that Nicholas underwent an intense training, which includes cardio, weight training and stunt training. The videos showcase the scale of preparation that went into bringing our very own He-Man to life on screen. Speaking about the transformation, Galitzine confessed it is the 'greatest physical challenge' he has undergone for a role in his life. "I bear a responsibility to the fans. I feel pushed to lift more. To work harder. To be like He-Man," he said.

Director Travis Knight also praises the actor's commitment to the role. "Nick has utterly transformed himself. He feels like the most powerful man in the universe," he said.

Another video deep dives into the making of He-Man's legendary Sword of Power, with Nicholas calling it "the most important prop in the movie." The actor also reveals how surreal it felt to finally wield the mythical weapon on the set. "The Sword of Power is so iconic. I was so excited getting to wield it," he says in the video.

Director Travis Knight explains that the team wanted to stay faithful and true to the look and feel of the beloved 80s series while adapting the weapon for the big screen. "It was important that we honour what it looked and felt like 40 years ago," Travis shares.
