Building on positive word-of-mouth and growing audience interest, the film witnessed a strong jump in collections on Day 2. On Saturday, Obsession registered an impressive 57.1% growth and collected ₹2.75 cr net from 1,151 shows across the country.

With this, the film's total India gross collection has reached ₹5.94 cr, while its total India net collection stands at ₹4.96 cr. Since the final figures for the day are yet to be reported, the movie is just a few lakhs away from crossing the ₹5 cr net milestone in India.
Given its steady momentum and strong word-of-mouth, Obsession is expected to surpass the mark in the coming hours comfortably.

Made on a micro-budget of just $750,000-$1 million, Obsession has emerged as one of 2026's biggest surprise hits. The supernatural horror-thriller has reportedly crossed $100 million worldwide, turning into a massive box office success far beyond industry expectations.
According to a report by Lets Cinema, Obsession is expected to make its digital debut on June 2, 2026. With the horror-thriller only recently arriving in Indian cinemas, fans are already eager to know when they can watch it from home. Industry buzz suggests the film could premiere first on Peacock before becoming available on Netflix at a later date.
