‘Return Of The Jungle’ Release Date: India’s Only Emmy-Nominated Animation Powerhouse Release On THIS Date

India's only Emmy-nominated animation studio, Vaibhav Studios, has unveiled the teaser of its much-anticipated animated feature Return of the Jungle (ROTJ), announcing a nationwide theatrical release on May 29. The film has already garnered international attention, having been showcased at the Cannes Film Market before making its way to Indian theatres.

Presenting contemporary India through animation in a way never seen before, Return of the Jungle is a modern-day Panchatantra-inspired story with strong Indian roots. It is a heartwarming, music-driven family film about a group of fourth graders who discover their confidence through the enchanting jungle stories shared by a grandfather.

Return of the Jungle is directed by Vaibhav Kumaresh, an internationally acclaimed animation filmmaker known for creating iconic characters and shows such as Simpoo, the popular JioStar mascot, and Lamput, the globally successful animated series under Warner Bros. Discovery.

Speaking about the film, director Vaibhav Kumaresh said, "Return of the Jungle is Indian Animation like you've never seen before. It's a beautiful fusion of contemporary India with our rich folktales.
