Subhash Ghai Lauds Return Of The Jungle For Bringing Indian Stories To Family Audiences

Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai has praised India's only Emmy-nominated animation studio Vaibhav Studios' recently released feature film Return of the Jungle. The filmmaker took to social media to applaud the film, calling it a significant milestone for Indian animation and storytelling.

Sharing his thoughts, Subhash Ghai says, "As founder of Whistling Woods International, one of India's oldest institutes teaching Animation for 20 years now, it fills me with immense pride to see how far Indian Animation - part of the Orange Economy - has come.

Over the years, we've seen incredible talent emerge and contribute to the growth of India's creative industries. Today, I'm especially proud of the animated film - Return of the Jungle, directed by Vaibhav Kumaresh & written by him and Prosenjit Ganguly."

Praising the film's storytelling and cultural roots, he further added, "It is not just an animated film, it's a celebration of Indian storytelling, imagination, and creativity. To see a truly desi animated film made for the entire family reach audiences is a wonderful milestone for our industry. Produced by Vaibhav Studios, Return of the Jungle draws inspiration from the timeless wisdom of the Panchatantra and reimagines it for contemporary audiences.

Directed by Vaibhav Kumaresh, the creator behind popular animated properties such as JioStar mascat Simpoo and Warner Bros. Discovery's globally loved Lamput, the film follows a group of fourth-grade children who discover confidence, courage, and their own identities through magical jungle tales narrated by Thatha, an elder, who is their friend and guide..
