Prime Video has released the first teaser trailer for the much-awaited film adaptation, giving viewers a glimpse of the chemistry between Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman. Along with the teaser, the streaming platform has also confirmed the movie's global release date.

The romantic comedy follows Olive, a brilliant Ph.D. student whose only goal is to build a successful academic career. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers that her best friend, Ahn, has developed feelings for Jeremy, the man Olive once liked.

To convince her friend that she has moved on, Olive impulsively kisses the strict and intimidating professor Adam Carlsen. What begins as a spontaneous decision soon turns into a fake relationship with clear rules and boundaries. As they spend more time together, the line between pretending and real emotions slowly disappears, forcing Olive to question everything she believed about love.
