WWE Raw Monday Night Raw Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu Tribal Combat escalation
The Bloodline saga escalated when Roman Reigns came out and argued with Adam Pearce. Pearce warned that Jacob Fatu would already be fired if Reigns had followed earlier advice. Reigns brushed off the complaint, saying it was irrelevant now and asking for a few minutes before calling Fatu out for a confrontation.
Before Roman Reigns could issue that challenge, Jacob Fatu’s entrance music hit and Fatu marched straight to the ring. Fatu announced that he was standing in the ring already and ordered Reigns to come out immediately. Instead, The Usos appeared first, with Jey carrying a steel chair as Jimmy tried to calm the situation and reason with Fatu.
Jimmy asked Jacob Fatu why the situation had spiralled this far, saying family meant everything. Jimmy reminded Fatu that Jimmy had acknowledged Roman Reigns, and insisted Jimmy would do anything to protect family members. Jimmy said Fatu was now taking the hardest road possible and warned that this behaviour would likely cost Fatu a job.
Despite Jimmy’s appeal, Jey tried to attack Jacob Fatu with the chair, but Jimmy stepped in and caught the Tongan Death Grip. Jey then smashed the chair across Fatu’s back. Fatu shrugged off the blow and locked the Tongan Death Grip on Jey instead. At that moment, Roman Reigns finally arrived and stood on the apron, staring down Fatu.
Roman Reigns entered the ring and squared up to Jacob Fatu as tensions peaked. Reigns went for a Superman Punch, but Fatu countered and applied the Death Grip on Reigns. Jey then rocked Fatu with two superkicks and a spear, and The Usos followed with a 1D. Fatu kept struggling to rise, so The Usos tied Fatu in the ring ropes.
Roman Reigns then charged in with a Spear, dropping Jacob Fatu at last. Adam Pearce returned and looked furious at all four wrestlers. While Pearce confronted them, Fatu somehow got back up and shouted a challenge for Tribal Combat with Reigns. Before Pearce could respond, Reigns took the microphone and accepted the Tribal Combat match on the spot.
WWE Raw: Brock Lesnar attack on Oba Femi. Brock OUT of Retirement?
Oba Femi headed to the ring for another Open Challenge. Before Femi could even finish his entrance, an unidentified attacker jumped Femi from behind. The mystery figure revealed a familiar face: Brock Lesnar, returning shockingly after apparently ending a career at WrestleMania 42.
Brock Lesnar ravaged Oba Femi with four F5s, leaving Femi motionless in the ring. Lesnar then left the ring area while officials checked on Femi. This attack reignited their rivalry and reintroduced Lesnar into Raw storylines ahead of a busy season, including SummerSlam in Minnesota and the upcoming Clash in Italy premium event.
Despite Paul Heyman stating again on WWE Raw Monday Night Raw that Brock Lesnar had indeed retired, Heyman presented Adam Pearce with new paperwork. The document was a contract for another match between Lesnar and Oba Femi at Clash in Italy.
The 18 May 2026 edition of Monday Night Raw closed with several major rivalries sharply defined. Roman Reigns versus Jacob Fatu in Tribal Combat is confirmed for Clash in Italy, Brock Lesnar has targeted Oba Femi again, and Seth Rollins’ issues with The Vision and Bron Breakker are intensifying. LA Knight’s dispute with The Usos also appears set to grow.
