This
weekend
is
going
to
be
quite
a
happening
one
at
the
box
office
and
this
is
because
Christopher
Nolan's
much
anticipated
Oppenheimer
has
finally
hit
the
theatres
and
it
has
opened
with
a
bang.
For
the
uninitiated,
Oppenheimer,
starring
Cillian
Murphy,
Emily
Blunt,
Robert
Downey
Jr,
Matt
Damon,
Florence
Pugh
etc,
is
based
on
J
Robert
Oppenheimer.
This
riveting
biological
drama
explores
the
life
of
the
renowned
American
physicist
J
Robert
Oppenheimer
who
is
also
known
as
the
Father
of
Atomic
Bomb
-
his
achievement,
the
big
explosion,
the
result
and
his
relationship
with
his
legacy.
Plot:
Oppenheimer
beautifully
captures
the
story
of
a
man
who
brought
the
biggest
revolution
in
the
world
with
the
atomic
bomb
using
Oppenheimer's
1954
trial
and
cross-examination
as
a
narrative
device.
The
film
has
three
parallel
tracks
connected
perfectly
together.
The
first
track
happens
to
be
Oppenheimer's
early
life
as
a
student
to
becoming
the
top
notch
scientist
and
later
the
director
of
the
Manhattan
project.
The
second
is
the
future
track
wherein
Oppenheimer
has
to
answer
questions
about
his
past
ties
to
Communists
and
the
third
track
has
Lewis
Strauss
(played
by
Robert
Downey
Jr)
during
his
hearing
to
become
the
US
Secretary
of
Commerce.
Screenplay:
Christopher
Nolan
has
successfully
managed
to
juggle
between
the
past,
present
and
the
future
successfully
in
the
psychodrama
capturing
all
the
key
events
that
led
to
the
nuclear
tests
and
its
repercussions,
the
implications
of
Oppenheimer
being
a
Russian
spy,
government
hearings
and
more.
Oppenheimer
turns
out
to
be
Nolan's
finest
work
till
date
and
it
will
leave
you
on
the
edge
of
the
seat
throughout.
It
leaves
you
hooked
to
a
point
that
the
3
hours
movie
doesn't
seem
long
at
all.
Performances:
Cillian
Murphy
who
plays
the
role
of
J
Robert
Oppenheimer
is
emerging
as
a
man
with
the
Midas
Touch.
He
has
done
complete
justice
to
the
role
and
there
is
no
doubt
about
it
that
it
is
an
Oscar
worthy
performance.
He
will
leave
you
spellbound
every
time
he
comes
onscreen
and
rules
the
screen
like
a
king.
Overall,
Oppenheimer
is
like
a
once
in
a
lifetime
experience
which
you
can't
miss.
It
is
packed
with
a
strong
storyline,
mindboggling
performances
and
dialogues
with
impressive
dialogues
and
it
is
undoubtedly
an
interesting
watch.
