Story
Set in a world beset by Kaiju attacks, Kaiju No. 8 centers on Kafka Hibino, who once promised his childhood friend Mina Ashiro that they would join The Defense Force together. As life separates them, Kafka finds himself in the less glamorous role of cleaning up after Kaiju battles. When he meets Reno Ichikawa, an aspiring Defense Force member, Kafka is inspired to revisit his old pledge. Together, they navigate the challenges and responsibilities of protecting humanity from ongoing Kaiju threats.

Story
Act I: Forest officer Arjun (Prithviraj Sukumaran) is assigned to a remote forest station in Kerala. Initially seen as a routine posting, he soon discovers unusual activities in the protected forest area. Strange disappearances of wildlife and suspicious movements of outsiders catch his attention.
Act II: As Arjun investigates deeper, he uncovers a sophisticated wildlife trafficking network operating under the cover of a legitimate timber business. Maya (Parvathy Thiruvothu), a wildlife photographer, becomes his ally in exposing the truth. Together, they gather evidence while facing increasing threats from the criminals.
Act III: The investigation leads to a high-stakes confrontation in the heart of the forest. Arjun must use his knowledge of the terrain and wildlife to outmaneuver the traffickers. The climax showcases spectacular action sequences while highlighting the importance of environmental conservation.
