"Animal," the much-anticipated 2023 release, is leaving a colossal mark at the box office, shattering records on its second day, according to Karnataka Talkies, a renowned film industry tracker. The film has surged to the top, boasting the highest number of 'Filling Fast/Sold Out' shows for an Indian movie in Bengaluru, clocking in at an astounding 356 screenings. This impressive feat surpasses even the notable releases of the year, such as "Pathaan," "Jailer," "Jawan," and "Leo," which followed in its wake with fewer sold-out shows. With its roaring success in Karnataka, "Animal" solidifies its dominance and continues to captivate audiences, signalling a powerful run at the box office.

The movie features an extensive cast, including Ranbir Kapoor, who portrays dual roles as Ranvijay Singh and Aziz Haque, with Ahmad Ibn Umar portraying the younger Ranvijay. Anil Kapoor takes on the character of Balbir Singh, Ranvijay's father, while Bobby Deol appears as Abrar Haque, with Leon Ung playing the younger Abrar. Rashmika Mandanna stars as Geetanjali "Geeta" Singh, Ranvijay's wife, alongside Diyara Valecha portraying her younger self. Tripti Dimri assumes the role of Zoya; Charu Shankar plays Jyoti Singh (Balbir's wife and Ranvijay's mother); and Babloo Prithiveeraj plays Asrar Haque.
