Siddharth arrived in Bengaluru to promote his film 'Chithha,' also known as 'Chikku' in Kannada. As he was on the verge of commencing his speech during the press conference, individuals from a pro-Kannada organisation forcefully entered and called for an immediate halt to the event. Despite these disruptions, Siddharth decided to proceed, addressing the media and officially initiating the press conference.

Nevertheless, the scenario intensified when the activists insisted that the press conference be stopped immediately. They pointed out the timing of the event and criticised it for not actively advocating for the Cauvery water dispute, expressing their belief that addressing this issue should have taken precedence over conducting a press conference.

Confronted with their continuous disruption, Siddharth expressed his gratitude to the audience with folded hands and gracefully exited the event.

Apology Amid Chaos

Responding to the occurrence, Prakash Raj conveyed in a message on his X account (formerly known as Twitter), "Instead of questioning all the political parties and its leaders for failing to solve this decades old issue.. instead of questioning the useless parliamentarians who are not pressurising the centre to intervene.. Troubling the common man and Artists like this can not be accepted.. as a Kannadiga .. on behalf of Kannadigas. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 sorry #Siddharth #justasking"
