Daali Dhananjaya To Portray Nadaprabhu Kempegowda In Upcoming Period Film: Renowned actor Daali Dhananjaya, acclaimed for his recent success in "Kotee," is gearing up to portray the legendary Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, revered as the founder of Bangalore.
The eagerly awaited first look of Dhananjaya in the iconic role has now been revealed, marking a significant milestone for the upcoming period film titled "Nadaprabhu Kempegowda." Helmed by the esteemed director T. S. Nagabharana, this cinematic tribute aims to celebrate the profound legacy of Kempegowda.
Nagabharana's Dream Project 'Nadaprabhu Kempegowda'
Director Nagabharana, a luminary in Kannada cinema with acclaimed works like "Grahana," "Bangarada Jinke," "Banker Margayya," and "Janumada Jodi," has passionately championed this project for over two decades.
The film's official announcement comes after Nagabharana secured the title with the Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) and meticulously planned the project's creative aspects.
Produced under the Isvara Entertainment and Daali Pictures banner by Dr. M.S. Shivrudrappa and Shubham Gundala, "Nadaprabhu Kempegowda" carries the tagline "Bangalore Karanika," translating to "Man Behind Bangalore." Nagabharana is not only directing the film but has also written its storyline, screenplay, and dialogue.
In researching for the project, Nagabharana has reportedly been assisted by notable contributors such as poet and journalist Pratibha Nandakumar and researchers Prof. Siddalingaiah Kambalu, Dr. H.S. Gopal Rao, Prof. Chandrasekhara Ushala, and Dr. Hangu Rajesh.
Nagabharana's vision is supported by a distinguished technical team, including music composer Vasuki Vaibhav, cinematographer Advaita Gurumurthy, costume designer Nagini Bharana, and art director Shasidhara Adapa.
The film's production is set to commence once Dhananjaya completes his commitments in "Uttarakaanda" and "Anna From Mexico." He recently finished filming his portions as the character Jaali Reddy in the upcoming "Pushpa 2: The Rule."
With its blend of historical narrative and cinematic splendour, "Nadaprabhu Kempegowda" aspires to leave an indelible mark on Kannada cinema, paying homage to the visionary founder of Bangalore.
