In a significant development in the Renuka Swamy murder investigation, CCTV footage has reportedly emerged as critical evidence, potentially implicating actor Darshan and his associates. The case, which has captured widespread attention, revolves around the brutal killing of Renuka Swamy, a resident of Chitradurga, allegedly orchestrated by actor Darshan and a group of accomplices.

The latest update reveals that more than 15 CCTV cameras were installed both inside and outside the shed in Pattanagere, where Renuka Swamy was murdered. These cameras, reportedly owned by actor Darshan, are said to have recorded the comings and goings on the premises, including Darshan's movements. The surveillance system, initially installed for the protection of vehicles within the shed, now serves as a pivotal element in the investigation.

Law enforcement has seized these CCTV cameras along with the DVR units, scrutinising the footage for any crucial evidence. The recordings are believed to have captured the entire sequence of events, from the gang's entry to their exit, and possibly the moment of the attack on Renuka Swamy. Mobile phones belonging to Darshan, Pavithra Gowda, and 13 other members of their group have also been confiscated. The investigators have accessed Pavithra Gowda's WhatsApp history and are closely examining her communications. Women police officers are leading the interrogation of Pavithra Gowda, focusing on her relationship with the Darshan and the events leading up to the murder.

Renuka Swamy was reportedly lured to Bangalore and murdered following a dispute involving inappropriate messages sent to Pavithra Gowda. Investigators have uncovered that a substantial sum, approximately ₹30 lakh, was involved in a deal to dispose of Renuka Swamy's body. This financial aspect adds another layer of complexity to the case, suggesting premeditation and a coordinated effort among the accused.

Four of the suspects have allegedly confessed to acting on Darshan's instructions, with reports indicating that Darshan was present during the attack on Renuka Swamy. This revelation has further implicated the actor, casting a shadow over his career and future in the film industry.
