In the year 2898 AD, Kasi, once a thriving city, now lies desolate in a desert wasteland, governed by a totalitarian ruling class led by the god-king Supreme Yaskin. Their seat of power is a hovering pyramidal megastructure known as the Complex. This narrative unfolds against a backdrop of Indian mythology and a dystopian future, spanning millennia from the events of the Mahabharata in 3102 BC-the beginning of Kali Yuga-to the year 2898 AD. Central to this story is the enigmatic figure of Kalki, the tenth and final avatar of the Hindu deity Vishnu.
