Kiccha Sudeep's Max: "Max," an eagerly awaited Kannada action drama, heralds Vijay Karthikeyaa's debut as a director and is produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu under V Creations. The film boasts a stellar cast, including Kiccha Sudeep, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samyukta Hornad, Sukrutha Wagle, Anirudh Bhat, and more, promising an exhilarating cinematic experience.

The film's initial teaser was unveiled on July 2, 2023, following an announcement from the team. Later, on Kichcha Sudeep's birthday, the title "MAX" was revealed. The official teaser was subsequently released in multiple languages on July 16, 2024.

There were reports suggesting that Max would release on Kiccha Sudeep's birthday, September 2. However, sources indicate that the release on this date looks doubtful. As the film's crew continues to work on post-production, fans are eagerly awaiting the trailer release and the anticipated announcement of the official release date for Max.

'Max' Premise

Inspector Arjun Mahakshay confronts the minister's son while he is violently attacking police officers, resulting in his arrest. The situation takes a drastic turn when the minister's son dies during the confrontation.

Sudeep's collaboration with Kalaipuli Thanu was officially announced in May 2023, following his earlier release, Vikrant Rona, nearly a year before. Initially rumoured to be a remake of the 2021 Telugu hit Krack, which was itself inspired by the 2018 cult film Tagaru, the project was confirmed through a teaser in July 2023. Directed by debutant Vijay Karthikeyaa with music by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, the film features Samyuktha Hornad and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar reuniting with Sudeep after their previous collaboration in Manikya. Filming began in July 2023, primarily in Mahabalipuram, with action sequences co-directed by Chetan Dsouza and Kevin Kumar of Jailer fame. Despite interruptions caused by the Chennai floods, production resumed, and all action sequences were completed by May 2024.
