11 movies on the 4th

The auspicious day of Varamahalakshmi festival is going to witness maximum number of films going on floors this year. Nearly eight films are expected to commence on that day. additional two to three films are also likely to start that day. Well, the day is expected to be very hectic to the film journalists, photographers as well as few prominent dignitaries from the film land.

The first to top the list is Prem starrer Preethi Yeke Bhoomi Melide. The film is being produced by Ramprasad of Ashwini studio who is back after the mega success of Jogi. R P Patnaik is incharge of the music. Prem apart from acting, directing has penned the story himself.

Shivarajkumar starrer Thaayiya Madilalli is also expected to go on floors the same day. Rakshitha will be seen opposite Shivarajkumar. S Narayan besides directing is also producing the film.

After a sophisticated role in Aishwarya, Upendra will be seen in the role of a Parodi. The film a remake of Nana Patekar super-hit Krantiveer is being directed by Sai Prakash. Rehman who once produced Yajamana is back to tinsel town with this film.

Ravi Srivatsa will be back with Rajiv - Gandhi alla Godse that day. Vijay Raghavendra, Rakshitha, Tilak, Harish Rai and Vijay of Duniya fame will star in that film. Sadhu Kokila is the music director. Shobha Rajanna who once produced Deadly Soma is producing this film.

After a long break Thriller Manju will be back to direction once again with his new film called Police Story-2. Saikumar is the hero of the film. J.G. Krishna and Sadhu Kokila will also be working for this film.

Another film starring Murali and directed by S Mahendar will also be expected to start on the same day. The day will also see the release of the much expected historical Gandugali Kumararama.

The auspicious day of Varamalakshmi Festival will witness launches of films with a budget more than 25crores, Also on this day 6 crores historical movie by M.S.Ramaiah Films will release in theaters on the same day
