The
lead
artists
of
the
Kannada
film
industry
seems
to
be
more
lucky
than
the
regular
producers,
as
in
this
year
the
actor-turned
producers
and
actor
turned
directors
are
raking
in
more
money
from
the
Box
office
than
the
producers.
While
all
the
films
featuring
Sudeep
produced
by
other
regular
producers
were
box
office
duds
in
the
year
2005,
this
year
he
has
proved
to
be
lucky
as
producer
of
Autograph
and
distributor
of
Hubballi.
My
Autograph
which
was
directed
by
Sudeep
for
the
first
time
is
the
biggest
hit
of
the
year
and
has
run
for
silver
jubilee
in
a
few
centers.
The
actor
made
some
good
profits
as
the
producer
of
this
film
also.
Now,
he
is
repeating
the
success
trend
as
a
distributor
for
the
film
Hubballi
directed
by
Om
Prakash
Rao.
Sudeep
is
reported
to
have
paid
a
fancy
price
of
Rs.
1.08
crores
to
acquire
the
distribution
rights
of
the
film
to
a
major
area
like
Bangalore
and
he
is
expected
to
rake
in
Rs.
75
lacs
in
the
first
week
itself.
Darshan
turned
producer
with
Jothe
Jotheyalli
and
he
is
expected
to
make
a
profit
of
more
than
Rs.
1
crore
in
his
first
attempt
as
a
producers.
Star
brothers
Vijaya
Raghavendra
and
Murali
were
behind
the
wheels
of
production
for
this
year's
big
hit
Sevanthi
Sevanthi.
Rockline
Venkatesh
entered
the
industry
as
an
actor
and
his
Sirivantha
has
already
been
declared
a
hit.
Om
Prakash
Rao,
the
director
and
producer
of
Hubballi
is
also
an
actor.
Except
for
"Rambha'
all
the
other
successful
films
have
some
connections
with
the
actors
with
regard
to
production
or
distribution.
