<i>Haseena</i> wins 2 awards

Award winning Kannada film Haseena directed by internationally acclaimed film director has won two more awards in the prestigious 33rd International film festival held at Brussels, Belgium. The film has obtained awards in the category of the Best film and also the Best script.

This recognition comes as a feather in the cap for Girish Kasaravalli who has already won many awards for the film including the special jury award in the Berlin film festival. "Haseena' has also won the Best actress National award for Tara who acted as a tormented Muslim woman who fights for justice.
