T.N. Seetharam headed State awards this year has gone into controversy. The first bomb has been given by the popular hero Jaggesh, who has rejected the award given to him as supporting actor for the film Mata.

In the press conference Jaggesh says Mata was his 100th film in his career and much ambition film. When I accepted the film Mata I had lost the election. Wearing the saint costume at the time of shooting at Thirthahalli I was realy worried whether I would become a Sanyasin. Director Guruprasad has done fantastic work for Mata. It was a different film and people have liked it.

For the hero role in Mata film, TNS committee gives me the award as supporting actor! This is an insult and I am giving back the award which was given to me.
